Invasive grass mapped from space by Australian researchers

Researchers from Australia’s national science agency have used satellites to map the spread of an invasive species of grass. The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Charles Darwin University (CDU) and the University of Western Australia, recently revealed that by analyzing satellite images using a machine-learning model, researchers were able to reliably map gamba grass.
