Diverse species mix proves worth

The benefits of cover cropping are known overseas but a new trial is looking at what they can do within a local context. CSIRO Agriculture and Food principal research scientist Mark Farrell said the project was looking at species evaluation and demonstrations, across different rainfall zones in SA, Vic and Tas.
