Call for applications for 71st Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting

August 17th, 2021

The Australian Academy of Science invites applications from Australian PhD students and postdoctoral researchers to attend the 71st Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting with Nobel Laureates in the fields of chemistry, to be held on-site from Sunday 26 June to Friday 1 July 2022 (subject to COVID-19 restrictions).

The Lindau Meetings are a highly prestigious annual gathering of around 30 Nobel Laureates and 600 promising young scientists from around the world, to exchange ideas and share experiences. Each year, a small delegation of leading Australian undergraduates, PhD students and post-doctoral researchers is selected to attend the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting and take part in a post-meeting study tour, led by a renowned Australian scientist.

Applications must be submitted by the Research Office (or equivalent) of the applicant’s institution; individual applications will not be accepted. Each institution is limited to applying for two grants on behalf of two early career researchers.

Applications close 5 pm AEST Tuesday 28 September 2021.
