Bakerian Medal and Lecture winner 2022: Michelle Simmons FRS

The Bakerian Medal and Lecture 2022 is awarded to Professor Michelle Simmons FRS for seminal contributions to our understanding of nature at the atomic-scale by creating a sequence of world-first quantum electronic devices in which individual atoms control device behaviour.

Professor Simmons will be awarded a medal and a gift of £10,000 at the Royal Society at a future date.
