The platypus could help save humanity from antibiotic resistant bacteria

The duck-billed platypus is a mammal native to Australia, and a team of scientists from Australia’s science agency Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) has found that the milk of a platypus contains a protein which could help create a new form of antibiotics.
