We are seeking a talented and experienced Scientific Writing Training Manager to join our CSIRO Publishing team to deliver specifically-designed writing workshops for a wide range of internal and external stakeholders & partners.

In this key role within the team, you will be responsible for managing CSIRO’s Scientific Writing Workshops line of business by designing and delivering training in scientific writing tailored to our customers’ needs, continuously evaluating & improving the programs and developing new courses. You will understand the needs of researchers, professional scientists and engineers, and use your language & writing expertise to train them to communicate their research clearly and effectively. You will also use your stakeholder management skills and commercial acumen to maintain strong client relationships, proactively seek new opportunities, promote the programs, and drive new business.

As the Scientific Writing Training Manager, you will also need strong organisational skills, technical competence with online training platforms, and the ability & willingness to travel regularly within Australia and overseas to deliver training programs.
