Help shape education opportunities for STEM Together
CSIRO Education and Outreach has partnered with the BHP Foundation for a new, nationwide program. ‘STEM Together’ aims to increase inclusion and participation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics for under-represented, high-potential students.
It focuses on Year 5-10 students, particularly those who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, students who identify as female, are from regional and remote areas, and/or students from low socio-educational advantage areas.
We’ve launched an initial series of free online events for students, educators and people that want to support STEM learning.
For instance, ‘Exploring STEM Together: For STEM supporters and the Community’ gives those with an interest in STEM an opportunity to help shape the program itself. You can learn about the program, hear from others and share your views on building confidence, capacity and connection for the next generation.
