Blended hydrogen pipeline transport workshop
The Storage and Distribution working group of the Clean Hydrogen Mission would like to invite you to attend a workshop on the use of pipelines to distribute blends of hydrogen with natural gas. We will hear from operational projects, research into the effects of hydrogen blends on pipeline materials and modelling of hydrogen distribution.
After the talks the speakers will join a panel for a discussion time.
This workshop follows the collection of international case-studies of hydrogen storage and distribution and is the first in a series of technical workshops. The use of pipelines to transport hydrogen emerged as a common trend in the majority of countries that provided case-studies. This workshop will allow participants to get a deeper understanding of how pipeline transport is currently being used, while highlighting the challenges and opportunities for the future.
