We are pleased to announce that Australia’s ninth Chief Scientist, Dr Cathy Foley AO PSM, will deliver the Welcome Address at the upcoming International Conference on Quantum Energy (ICQE23), which is being hosted by CSIRO in Melbourne on 4-6 December.

Dr Foley is a renowned physicist who has made ground-breaking contributions to our understanding of nitride semiconductors and superconducting electronics.

With such a vast wealth of knowledge and experience, her insights are bound to set the tone for an informative and enlightening event.

ICQE23 is the inaugural event to explore the role of quantum mechanics in addressing global energy challenges and harnessing its opportunities. It will bring together a cross-disciplinary perspective on the fundamental understanding, and technical engineering, of quantum systems for energy harvesting, conversion, storage and transport.
