CSIRO Industry PhD Scholarships are now available for a 2024 start!

Do you know a motivated student eager to tackle real-world challenges? 

Scholarships are now available for eligible students to be part of the Industry PhD program in 2024. 

With a generous scholarship and access to industry and CSIRO, our PhD students are contributing to real world solutions. 

Through the program, students undertake PhD research on a problem developed in collaboration with, and jointly supervised by, an industry partner, a university researcher and a CSIRO researcher. 

The program offers students a fully funded government scholarship and an industry funded top-up ($46,000 in total for 2024), as well as funds for project operating costs and professional development training. Candidates will complete their PhD project, an Industry Engagement Component, and a tailored development program curated by CSIRO. 

Starting in early October we will be advertising approximately 50 projects in a wide range of research areas with universities and industry partners across Australia for early 2024 commencement.
