Apply for the IPPIN Accelerator program – ending plastic waste
Anticipated to double by 2040, plastic use poses a looming threat to our planet’s sustainability, with significant adverse impacts on the environment. Our IPPIN Accelerator+ Program, operated within the Indo-Pacific Plastics Innovation Network, is a pivotal initiative under CSIRO’s Ending Plastic Waste Mission.
By 2030, our mission aims to slash plastic waste entering the Australian environment by 80%.
This three-month immersive journey supports validated start-ups and entrepreneurs with early-stage business propositions to tackle marine plastic waste in Southeast Asia.
This individualised program places a strong emphasis on achieving outcomes such as revenue growth, partnership sourcing, and investment readiness. Teams enrolled in this program will be guided by dedicated coaches providing measurable growth support, along with the flexibility to access workshops, mentorship and technical assistance based on their preferences and needs.
Participants will have access to a collective pool of AUD$100,000 in funding support during the program*.
The program will conclude with a Demo Day where participants pitch their solutions to a panel of esteemed judges. This invaluable opportunity allows for constructive feedback and guidance, empowering teams with the tools they need to refine and advance their solutions.
*Please note, this is not direct cash but rather access to services and support, to be shared among the cohort.
