UK and Australian agencies forge research alliance

The national funder UK Research and Innovation has agreed a deal on closer collaboration with the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation in Australia. UKRI and CSIRO announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding on 24 July, saying they will work together to address global challenges and “drive innovations that not only benefit the UK and Australia but also contribute to the global community”.
