Nationwide Bug Hunt to capture Australia’s insect, invertebrate underworld

A photographic census of Australia’s native insects and other bugs — and their unwelcome invasive counterparts — has been launched across Australia.

The national citizen science project, dubbed Bug Hunt and developed jointly by Invertebrates Australia, the Invasive Species Council, and Australian Geographic, is intended to build a comprehensive catalogue of Australian garden life.
