Country’s first statewide digital cardiac rehabilitation service to fight Tasmania’s most fatal disease
Tasmanian Examiner, Other, 10/03/2021, Meg Powell
A brand new weapon against Tasmania’s biggest killer has been officially rolled out across the state – and patients won’t have to leave home to use it. The weapon in question is a digital cardiac rehabilitation service by health company Cardihab, which will announce a partnership today with the Tasmanian Department of Health and the Royal Flying Doctor Service Tasmania to provide the service in every public hospital in the state. […] The Cardihab care model was originally developed by the CSIRO, and Ms Souris said Tasmania was the first state in the country to roll the system out statewide.
