“Redefining” research on Queensland crocodiles has found the majority remain closer to home than previously thought, with potential implications as to how the predators are managed in the Sunshine State. In a joint study, the CSIRO and the Department of Environment and Science collected genetic samples from 1,176 saltwater crocodiles.
