CSIRO to cast independent eye over NT carbon storage plans

The Northern Territory government is promoting the capture of carbon dioxide and its use or storage to establish a “Sustainable Development Precinct” at Middle Arm , home to Australia’s two dirtiest LNG projects. CSIRO principal senior research scientist Andrew Ross will lead a team that will spend up to two years assessing if the business case for a carbon capture, use and storage hub near Darwin stacks up.
