ASIA-PACIFIC SOLAR RESEARCH CONFERENCE 2022

The Asia-Pacific Solar Research Conference (APSRC) is the premier solar research conference in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region and this year will be held in Newcastle, NSW in the historic Town Hall, 29 November – 1 December 2022.

CSIRO will be hosting the meeting this year, co-Chaired by Stein, Wes (Energy, Newcastle) and Gregory Wilson and will include a walking tour of our CSIRO Energy Centre as part of the extra-curricula events.

The APSRC provides a regional forum for communicating research outcomes covering all aspects of solar-related research: PV devices, concentrating solar thermal, deployment & integration, solar heating & cooling as well as solar fuels and chemistry. With the theme of information, communication and integration, the conference provides a great opportunity for young researchers and professionals to share knowledge and network with the region’s leading innovators from industry and research institutions.

We are growing a strong line-up of Australian and International speakers with the APRSC held annually by the Australian Photovoltaic Institute (APVI) with support from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA).

Our Program includes research outcomes covering all aspects of solar-related research with strong support and participation from research institutes from the Australian Centre for Advanced Photovoltaics (ACAP) and the Australian Solar Thermal Research Institute (ASTRI) where CSIRO is a research partner leading developments in these fields.
