CSIRO’s ON Program Briefing

Since 2015, our ON program has been helping researcher from Australia’s universities and publicly-funded research agencies gain the skills and confidence they need to take their science and technology towards impact.

During that period, we have supported more than 3,100 people from 52 Australian research organisations (including 36 universities) to undertake more than 28,000 customer discovery interviews to validate the market potential of their research and work towards developing innovative ventures. Our alumni have gone on to secure $115 million in commercialisation grants and create 66 new companies which support more than 500 jobs and have raised $114 million in capital.

We’re looking forward to continuing to collaborate with Australia’s university and research sector to deliver ON Prime and ON Accelerate to help researcher teams connect with business and create impact.
