While there was hope we’d get a coronavirus vaccine early next year, the government now says Australians may be waiting much longer. Industry Minister Karen Andrews says the federal government believes the rollout of a potential coronavirus vaccine is still at least nine months away. […] Ms Andrews said the CSIRO and leading medical company CSL were equipped to manufacture a protein-based vaccine straightaway, however a non-protein drug would take longer.
