Innovate to Grow Defence Victoria program
Small to medium-sized businesses (SMEs) are invited to apply for CSIRO’s free 10 week virtual program to learn more about the power of R&D to develop an idea you have for the defence industry.
The Defence Institute is proud to be jointly funding the delivery of this program to enable Victorian businesses who are working on defence challenges or looking to move into the defence market to attend.
This program is open to SMEs in Victoria working on innovations from the subsectors listed below (businesses can be from any industry):
- Integrated intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance
- Enhanced human performance
- Medical countermeasures
- Advanced materials
- Advanced sensors or quantum technologies
- Autonomous systems
- Space
The program will help you refine your innovation idea and step you through how to turn this into a viable research and development opportunity.
You will be exposed to industry knowledge, hear from innovation and industry experts and have access to researchers and R&D mentors.
It’s also a great opportunity to work alongside other like-minded SMEs and build your networks.
