Leading researchers gather in Broome to tackle remote community energy affordability
Leading researchers from across the country gathered in Broome to discuss solutions to making energy more affordable in remote Aboriginal communities.
The workshops were attended by all the major stakeholders involved including residents from Ardyaloon, Djarindjin, Wangkatjungka and Mowanjum, as well as representatives from Horizon Power’s remote community teams, CSIRO’s National Energy Analysis Centre and the Kimberley Land Council.
