The NSW government has announced it will build a 13,000-square-metre Advanced Manufacturing Research Facility at the centre of the Western Sydney Aerotropolis as it releases draft precinct plans for the mammoth city-making project. To be built near the proposed CSIRO headquarters, the research facility is expected to include 3D printers, next-generation computing, and interactive spaces purpose built for advanced manufacturing, aerospace and defence.
