Public consultation in relation to developing measurement requirements for hydrogen dispensers in Australia
The National Measurement Institute is running a public consultation to develop measurement requirements for hydrogen dispensers in Australia. We are currently working on adopting the international standard, OIML R 139, for compressed gaseous fuel measuring systems for vehicles which includes requirements for hydrogen. We are also consulting on revisions to National Instrument Test Procedure 12.1.
You can access consultation documents through the Consultation Hub page (URL: https://consult.industry.gov.au/metrological-requirements-for-hydrogen-dispensers-in-vehicles) during the consultation period from 20 January-4 March.
Interested stakeholders can provide feedback and comments to ensure that the metrological framework we are establishing is appropriate for Australia.
