Strategic looks recharge batteries from thin air
The West Australian, Online, 28/10/20, Matt Birney
Strategic Elements has been grabbing the headlines recently with its advancements in robotics and artificial intelligence. However its partnership with the University of New South Wales and CSIRO is also set to raise a few eye-brows with the cohort developing a revolutionary self-charging battery that creates electricity from humidity in the air and remarkably from humidity contained in ink. The battery concept is a twist on Strategic’s remarkable printable ink known as “Nanocube Memory Ink” that can be “printed” onto glass or even plastics and used to create an electrical circuit.
