Vale Tim Bastow

Many of us have known Tim for decades and loved him as a friend and were in awe of him as a brilliant CSIRO researcher. The last few years Tim has been an Honorary Fellow in Manufacturing.

The Bastow family are well known in CSIRO as Tim’s father was a previous CSIRO Chief of Division and the Bastow building at Clayton is named after him (https://csiropedia.csiro.au/stewart-henry-bastow-1908-1964/)
