Wine: Jura white variety thriving

It was a chance mistake in 2009 when Australia’s small plantings of albarino vines (imported and propagated by the CSIRO in the 1990s) were proven to be a lesser known grape variety called savagnin. Originating from Jura in France’s east, the variety has proven inherently versatile.
