Vale Barry McGlasson

We are sharing the sad news with our alumni members that Barry McGlasson has passed away.

Dr Barry McGlasson, Senior Principal Research Scientist, took early retirement on 8th December, 1988, following his transfer to the Division of Horticulture. He had served CSIRO for over 24 years, joining the Division of Food Preservation as a Senior Research Scientist in June 1964.

Barry’s family advises that they would welcome representatives of Barry’s colleagues at the service, which will be held on Thursday the 28th of July at 1.30 pm. The venue is Ann Wilson Funerals, Mona Vale.
